a) Can I use this in grade ___?

This package is ideally for students in grades 3-6. This bundle includes ALL GRADE LEVELS that are included in the Ignited Literacy 2.0 program.

b) Can I pay in Canadian Dollars or make monthly payments?

c) Does this follow Structured Literacy (Science of Reading)?

Yes, this updated 2.0 version aligns with the principles of Structured Literacy and the Science of Reading. It provides explicit, systematic instruction that supports junior-grade learners in developing advanced spelling and morphological knowledge to better understand subject-specific vocabulary. It also includes direct teaching of comprehension strategies to strengthen reading understanding. The program is designed to meet the specific needs of students in the junior grades, focusing on their stage of literacy development and supporting their growth with evidence-based practices.

d) I own units from Ignited Literacy 1.0. Is this the same thing? 

No, Ignited Literacy 2.0 is not the same as the original version. It is a completely rewritten and restructured program—not just an update. While Ignited Literacy 1.0 still aligns with current curriculum expectations, version 2.0 reflects major improvements based on teacher feedback, evolving classroom needs, and a clearer content structure. Ignited Literacy 2.0 is a new program designed to better support teachers and students. If you previously purchased the full-year program, you now have access to both versions in your program library. If you purchased individual monthly units from version 1.0, you can continue to access those through your original purchases.

e) Is this appropriate for a French Immersion class or Core English program? This program is in English and ideally used for teachers who have at least 80-120 min of literacy instruction each day. If you are teaching Core English this program would work but you will only utilize half of the program this year and can use the remaining unused content the following year with the same kids. This gives you more options when looping or teaching the same kids for a few years which often happens with Core English teachers.
