Ignited Literacy
This has brought my ELA instruction to the next level! It took some time to figure out the program and it does take a little time in the beginning to prep, but is sooo user friendly. It has helped me to make the most out of every instructional minute!

Ignited Lessons Club
This is a great unit to own! I have used it for both split classes and straight grades. There is a lot of valuable information in this packet. There are full lesson plans for you to follow along with your class and the activities are very hands on and some units do require a lot of inquiry and research from the students (as stated in the title). With the amount of inquiry involved I would say these units are more designed for your higher students (especially if you are trying to complete the lessons in a split grade). Overall a great resource and Madly Learning is always willing to provide assistance when needed!

Welcome! My name is Patti.
I am a teacher in Ontario, Canada. Over the last 20 years, I have taught every grade 3-6, including all the split grade class combinations.
My blog started a few years ago when I saw a lack of teacher blogs that reflected my needs as a Canadian teacher. Since then, I have grown to blog about my experiences in my classroom and new pedagogies as I experience them. Selling my resources on TPT was a natural progression for me after many requests for the materials that I was writing about.
At the same time, I have grown my family. Our family is now complete with our three wonderful children. I couldn’t do any of this without the support of my husband. He has been very helpful and supportive of my endeavors! He is now an integral part of Madly Learning inc. by helping to support my efforts both here on my blog and on TPT.
